I was fortunate enough to win an Equinox 800 a couple months ago. This is the first time I have won a detector and a great way to do it. After doing some research on a new field permission I received I decided to try my luck. As I pulled up to the field I scanned for the largest hills because most houses here in Indiana are on the hill tops. I noticed one was large and would probably be where the house was located. I made my way to the hill and bam. Iron, glass and brick all over the place. I set my Equinox 800 to all medal and went to swinging. My first good signal was a 33 and repeated very nicely. I dug the target and sure enough it was a large cent. Next target same signal. 2nd large cent. This kept going. My 5th target was a 26 and turned out to be an 1841 half dime. Well after a few one hour hunts my total is 8 large cents, 2x 1841 half dimes, 1842 seated dime and an 1866 shield nickel. That's one awesome site. Thank you for this detector. I think I like it.
