I was detecting a park and had a 13 VDI. Most of the time that number is a nickel or a pull-tab but on this occasion it was a 14k gold class ring. I was shocked to see it come out of the ground and very happy. The ring was 4 inches deep and had a ladies name engraved on the inside. I was able to find the lady through social media and confirm the ring was hers. She hadn't seen the ring in 23 years and was shocked to hear I found it. I was able to mail the ring back to her and she was happily reunited with her class ring.
