Treasure found at the Indian Territory train station!

26 Nov 2020

I have lived in Oklahoma for about a year and a ton of research led me to a small town near me. The town existed during the days of the Indian Territory and had a train station that existed in 1865. The rail line mimicked the Chisholm Trail and was mainly used as a transport for the wealthy to the Kansas City stockyards. I headed out to my spot with my Equinox 600 with the 6 inch coil. About 2 hours into the search I came across this beautiful gold brooch featuring a longhorn. This confirmed to me that I did in fact find grounds of this once thriving station in the middle of Indian Territory. Thanks Minelab!! Loving the 600!
