On a recent one week trip to Mexico, my wife and decided to try a little detecting in front on the hotel and at the nearby public beach. Within the first hour we found two 14k gold rings, one sunbathing on the surface of the sand. A couple days later in the same area a sharp 7-8, 8-9 signal at the surf line produced a 10k solitaire ring. Unfortunately the diamond wasnt real. we ended the week with 9 rings, three gold!
