I went to a modern park that I had detected probably one year before. I went to a tot lot that I hadn’t detected yet on the opposite side of the park. I had just gotten out of the truck, dug several modern coins and a few pull tabs. My first signal as I walk near the slide was a solid 18 in every direction approximately 6” down. I was expecting another modern pull tab but out popped a gold ring. I wasn’t sure what I had but I could tell by the weight that it was gold. The ring was not marked but later tested 10 Karat when I got home. This is my first gold ring of 2022. I hope to find more just like it. The NOX has been and will continue to be my detector of choice. Thanks for reading!
