Both my boys (10-12 years old) got GO-FIND 20s last week for helping dad around the house doing all the summer Honey Dos and yard work! They earned something nice and having never used a metal detector, Michael learned the tones and setting within 30 minutes of opening his box! In three days he has beat dad who has metal detected for 8 years+ in finding rings and coins! He is hooked and we plan on hitting several more parks here in New Mexico before the summer ends!
We figured out that in parks where there are very trashy areas, he needs to be set at 1 bar on sensitivity, and delete the iron trash icon and set volume as high as possible for best results and not hit so much trash targets! We only have 1 Minelab pinpointer so that is our next investment!
He is hooked for life!
