Hunting public parks, I never expect to find more than an occasional silver quarter or some mercury dimes. In April I hit the woods of a park just outside Milwaukee and had the sweetest tone ever. It turned out to be a 1904 barber half. I’ve found other silver coins here, but nothing this old or big! Now today, two months later I get a similar signal in a grassy area of the same park. 9 inches deep, an 1894 barber half pops out!!! Two in the same park!! Still can’t believe it! Very proud to be part of the 1800s silver club! Love my E-TRAC!
