I was detecting this old railroad site in the middle of the woods in Spokane ,WA and wasn't expecting to find much of anything which is what was happening and about an hour into the hunt I got a really good signal I started to dig and out popped this large copper tag. I couldn't make out anything it said. I waited till I go home and cleaned it up with some soap and water and to my surprise it had a name on it. I've tried to find anything on the person and the tag but have had no luck at all. From what I gather it's an old ID Tag for the Great Northern Railroad. I was super excited and its one of my best finds.
