My name is Casey Ewers and I am founder of Detect Michigan. My daughter Ashlynn (6yr old) and I were swinging an old 1850's Homesite long gone we have had permission at. It's one of our "hunted out" spots. As I'm swinging along she yells dad I found something good!! I walk over and look at her find and about freak. She hands me a Grand Army of the Republic civil war veterans pin!!! As you can tell I'm one proud dad for her to find something like this at 6yr old. She absolutely loves detecting! She is a daddy's girl and it's just me and her.
