Very muddy field rough plough. Got a deep numbers showing on display Equinox 800 as a 29/30 with a high tone - I knew I was in a Roman area as I had found a lead bead / broach & two Roman coins - dipodies &sestertius. After digging 4/5 spades out popped a 2000 year out Roman Dagger Guard I Took it home a carefully gave a clean to reveal this stunner. I just love finding anything but it makes your day when a nice relic pops out - I always think who held it and what stories it could tell. As this is my forth detector from Minelab all I can say is great machines land and beach keep me coming. Thank for hearing my story Redvanric - Norfolk, UK
