I was out today on a very short hunt on my new permission, Just testing a couple of fields to see if there was any good hit spots, Found some interesting finds. But I was soon to be stumped, I found a silver coin, seemed very thick to be a hammered, but it was intact a hammered, I'd never seen this design before so I was confused, It turns out to be a Scottish hammered coin if king William the Lion from the late 1100 s to early 1200s, To find this in Wales is absolutely amazing, the CTX is a special machine, thanks Minelab
