I live by the local fairgrounds. I've been scouring the 97 year old fairgrounds for four years now, three years with my beloved CTX 3030! My dealer made a custom program on my machine, and told me to listen for tones and not so much worry about the vdi numbers. Sure enough it pays off! CTX picks up this silver merc in the ground laying with two nails! No wonder I never heard it's tones in the past!
