I have had my Minelab EQUINOX 800 for about a month now and with the heavy humidity, I haven't been able to get out as much as I would like to. The other day I was searching an already heavily hunted area and picked up a strong mid-high tone in a tweaked Park 1 mode (19 solid). Being new'ish with the EQUINOX, I'm digging just about everything with a solid signal. I dug and popped the plug to see the very tip of the handle sticking out from the bottom of the hole. After some careful excavation, I was able to free the spoon and the shine gave away it's age and pure silver quality right away. The spoon turns out to be an Oneida Community serving spoon from what must have been an old set. This is my first decent find with EQUINOX 800 and I can't wait to start loading up on great coins and relics with my Minelab EQUINOX 800! I'm hoping to pick up an 6" coil down the road for those tight places and mega-trashy areas. Thanks for reading and good luck!
