I am a president of a metal detecting club. Kind of like a coach of sorts. Those that can't play coach, and those that don't hunt organize. LOL. Well I have held a hunt called The Great Catskills Mountains Coin Shoot and Relic Hunt for the last three years in a town called Big Indian, New York. I normally will only hunt with the guys for a few hours as responsibilities usually take away from my time to do so. This year, I was able to hunt in an area I really liked and within about 30 minutes I came up with a United States Gold Dollar coin that someone had turned into a pendant. These are tiny items and my CTX 3030 cut through the dried out soil like a knife to find this little gem. Right after that, five minutes later, I pulled up a Golden Scroll with initials.
I was the talk of the party that night. Minelab your detectors ROCK!
