Lost gold bangles made with the ashes of the owners mum returned, there is a lot more to detecting for relics, returning lost items is also great for the community we all love

14 Aug 2020

So yesterday the club's owner of the druid's in Wales UK put out a post for some help in finding some braclets that where lost down by the sea so a couple of us got together and meet the young lady down the beach, where she explained that when she had those gold bangles made that she had given the jeweller her mum's ashes to incorporate into the pieces. We Searched the area with no joy, few hour went by and things where looking bleak, but I put in a last attempt of gridding the area out and after about 20 Minutes as the sun was ready to set the equinox gave a wonderful signal of 27 and low and behold two beautiful bangles piped up out of the sand the person was nearly in tears giving up all hope of finding them it brought happiness and joy back to her face, sometimes it's not about the artifacts or the lost history that we regularly take from the ground that can never be returned other times it's about returning what we can that holds sentimental value to the person and their family.
