I live in Denmark, Northern jutland to be exact and I was invited to a trip by two of my friends from our club and we went to some fields they have and they have done some interesting findings there.
It did not take long before i found my first silver coin, "En Dansk Skilling 1614" (One Danish Shilling 1614), my oldest coin so far.
Normally the museum don't want these coins, but this one was kind of special. I was told that they believe it is part of a coin treasure, so I had to let it go.
The coin is uncleaned on the photo, the reference picture is how it looks in good condition.
But later the same day I found another silver coin, En Norsk skilling 1650 (One Norwegian shilling 1650) in ok condition.
This coin is also uncleaned since they are very thin and fragile and can break.
All in all a very good day in good company and with the findings of two 16xx coins it did not get any better than that.
