During a working trip to sunny Whyalla, I decided to go fishing after work. After an hour I thought I’ve got to catch or find something, so I have taken the Vanquish 540 out of the car. Wanted to test my old stainless beach scoop that I upgraded with some beaut handles. After 30 min near I had a signal that rang around the 20 mark. Dug it up and just so happened to be a 1922 Australian half penny. Unexpected but what a great way to finish 2022 with a 1922 coin. There’s good stuff to find out there, just need to make time and enjoy your hobby!
