It was such a perfect day outside to be metal detecting, and I had the perfect silver signal underneith my coil. The X-TERRA 705 said I had a "44-46" signal at nearly 8 inches. I dug, and dug, and dug. I even had to go through a layer of black top. I thought to myself there could never be anything underneith this.
I ran the coil over the hole once again. It rang out even more clear! I was about to give up. I was close to a foot deep when I caught the first glimpse of silver! It was a silver spoon from 1910. THE BEST PART! WAS there WAS MORE! I pulled out yet another silver spoon, right underneith of it. I guess another interesting part about this is that I was using the Gold Pack coil. It still does very, very well at finding coin signals. AND I GOT IT ON VIDEO!!! Thank you!!! Jake - Idaho, USA
