Being Quarantined at home and social distancing during this COVID Pandemic can drive one stir crazy especially here in New York State and metal detecting is my way to clear my head and get exercise while maintaining social distance at the same time. New Permissions are far and between during this Pandemic, so I decided to take my newly purchsed Minelab Vanquish Pro Pack out to a old park. After about 15 minutes I had a good hit that rang up 20 -21 and dug my plug and staring at me was a small pair of eyes and metal around them and saw it was a heavy lion ring that roots had grown through the band; I carefully dug it out and cleaned it off to see what looked like gold. I looked very carefully inside the band to see if there was markings and was pleasantly surprised to see 18K inside of it. I did my research and found out that it was Yellow Gold and listed at 749.00 and I was in shock. Minelab has been and always will be my go to metal detector of choice; Thank you Minelab for producing a top notch product.
