I was out detecting with my club, beyond the beep, last Sunday 17/06/19. When I discovered a copper horse head. It was large and weighty and in perfect condition. Maybe from a cane as it has a fitting attachment. I have found hammered coins, mounts, brooches but there was just something about the workmanship of this item. I feel proud to have discovered this lovely item.
