After about 4 months of constant snow and now rain a break in the weather found me approaching one of my land owners to seek permission for a field I hadn't previously detected. At the same time I took the opportunity to present him with a small photo frame with a mounted Silver Penny of Richard the Lionheart that I had previously found on one of his fields a few months earlier - he was well chuffed and more than happy for me to detect on the new field, at the same time offering up several other fields later on in the year once the crops are in... result!
