One sunny morning while detecting in rolling country side, a few bits and bobs coming up but nothing really to shout about, I decided to do a sweep around the top end of the field and work my way back to the car via the hedge line. As I followed the hedge I had one fantastic signal which sounded like a tin can that someone had thrown over the hedge, I dug the signal anyway and out came a 16 century Bridle boss.
