I went fossicking on a dry riverbed near my home. Over the space of 2 afternoons I found 2 large agates (volcanic glass) filled with crystalline gold.. Combined weight of these golden gems was 10kg. I used my GO-FIND 44 to confirm gold content after I saw veins and placer gold in the gems. %of gold weight per agate is estimated at 10-15%. One of the two agates is a geode.
