Whilst on a club rally in the county of Worcester with some friends, I hit a solid 17 signal on my Equinox 800. On turning over the clod of earth, I was shocked to see a full Gold Stater staring back up at me. Reportedly from the Celtic Veneti Tribe of North Western France, the coin is around 2000 years old extremely rare for the area. Shorlty after, around 30m away, my detecting buddy Stuart found a Quarter Stater with his 800, coming in at 13/14. What a day!
