Received my new detector on a Friday March 11, 2022 from Outlaw Metal detectors. An outstanding company. I tooled around for several weeks getting to know several different detectors. I heard nothing but great things about Mine Lab. So good I happened to purchase a Gold monster 1000 about four weeks earlier from Amazon. I have taken it out and found small specks of lead shot. No gold yet but super impressed. So I wanted to have something I could also tool around parks and beaches. I was set on getting a 800 due to the online videos. Now there are also the negative ones but seriously anyone can be negative. The detector arrived on a Friday and i took it out Saturday. Ran through a few online you tube videos to learn the detector a bit, took it out the next day Saturday. March 12, 2022. After a a few coin finds I happened to come and find this beautiful heart promise ring in a soccer field. I felt this was a good omen. Still getting used to understanding the different settings but acts like a superb machine. I have owned several detectors in my years (Whites/Garrett) and must say Mine Lab placed them second due to the first find of a promise ring. See attached pictures. Rang in a a steady 17 on the scale. looked for a mint mark and did not find any. Could be a junk rink ring but I am ok with that. A ring is a ring. Seriously though finding a ring on my first swing made my day!!!!!
