I’ve been detecting for around 20 years now, and have always used another brand. I finally step up to Minelab. After two weeks of looking at my new CTX I finally got out to a local park. Weather and honey-dos had prevented my from hunting. The park has been heavily hunted but I needed to get to know my new machine and I was immediately impressed with how it can pick the coins out of the trash. Long story short after about two hours I had about five dollars in change. Nothing old. BUT I did find this. Interesting face, it weighs about a pound and is made out of lead (I think). I don’t think it is valuable and I have no idea what it is........but I’ll bet you don’t have one. And yes I found the quarter the same day.
