So I was hunting an old home site that has produced some goodies over the past it is littered with tons of modern trash but that is no match for the equinox 800 the hunt started off amazing the first thing I dug was a colonial shoe buckle so I quickly put that in my car as the iron piece is very crusty so I continued on detecting when I got a clear loud high tone near a Boulder I pulled out my pinpointer and found a nail so picked back up my Detecter and swung over the Boulder it was underneath it I flipped that rock over and I almost fell over when I seen what it was a civil war officers sword belt plate and the rest is history
