Mate from work who knew I was into detecting sent me a post from his local community Facebook page. Happened to be my day off and a pretty low tide early afternoon. Took a chance that it was still lost and headed to the beach. Had no luck along the waterline so decided wade out and try the Equinox underwater for the first time. 5 minutes later got a nice mid 30s hit and knew it had to be chunky silver, second scoop and NOX.wins. Ring returned to astonished owners who insisted on paying reward.
