After being on lock-down for many weeks, I went to a beach in North Florida for some exercise and to teach my buddy Larry more about his Equinox 800. While we were hunting and finding our share of coins and trash, I received a slight signal in all metal mode. After clearing away some sand I was able to pinpoint the target and dug down about 12 inches and was rewarded with a 1600's Spanish cob. This was the first one I have found on the beach. I have been metal detecting since 1979 and I think the Equinox 800 is the best all around detector I have owned.
