Yesterday I found an enemal disc fibula in 20cm depth. Today my archaeologist confirmed it is from 10th century - Otonian dynasty.
This version with the heraldic eagle/griffin is very rare. There are only 10 pieces known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland acc. to the local Museum in cologne. They have one piece in the Museum
