I had just taken delivery of the Minelab Vanquish 440.and was looking forward to seeing how it would perform on my roman sites. After testing it at home I opted to run in coin mode with only one bar of disc on the display. The site had been hunted a few times before with other machines. My goal was 5 coins .this might not sound much. But on this site 5 would be considered a good day. How amazed I was from a well hunted area a lovely mellow tone came through the headphones in between the iron grunts. And a meter reading of 18 out after the first full spade off black mineralised soil and a complete roman bracelet .shocked was a understatement. The 440 .certainly proved itself that day thanks Minelab.
