New day on new field I had tried previous afternoon and managed 1 Edward hammered and a lot of trash. I started off the first 2 hrs pulling up a lot of shotgun ends and trash, I then moved to different part of field . I then started to recover some interesting finds. All I can say is this was the start of a dream session metal detecting, by the end of the day I had recovered 7 yes 7 hammered Coins, Knights Templar Lead Shield, variety of milled coinage, musket balls and variety of other finds.
