Detecting on the beach, near Sandstone Point, north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Cooper has always been showing more and more interest in metal detecting. We decided to go to a boat ramp we regularly visit. Today I decided to see how he would go doing the detecting and I would do the digging. About half an hour into it he got a good solid signal and we dug up a 9k gold ring about 6 inches deep.
