It was a dark night, and I was searching in site that established in 1860s that had given quite a few old coins and relics before. I passed it next to the stump of a large old tree that has cut down sometime in the past. A quick dig and I could not believe what I was holding - an amazing cricket buckle, for a cricket fan as if this was a dream come true! Cleaning it up and discovered the patent mark dating it in 1864.
