In January our club had a belated Christmas dig in rural Warwickshire.It was a perfect day but the field was very quiet. We had to adjourn at 1:30pm as we had a lunch planned. Shortly before the finish I wandered down the field alone and got a deep but distinct two way signal from my CTX 3030. I dug and dug and dug some more and almost fell backwards when I saw the unmistakable shape of a 3000 year old spearhead! My first Bronze Age artifact in almost 20 years of swinging a Minelab detector. I have absolute confidence in my CTX 3030, it has proven itself time and time again!
