I was out near warwick chasing gold with my extreme detector and it was getting late so decided to camp in a small town that was started in the 1800s, after a good night sleep I was woken by the white cockatoos making a racket about 5:30 in the morning so I decided to to detect the footpaths and see what turned up. after a while I ended outside an area that had a historical marker saying this was the site of 1860s hotel. this was during the gold rush so I decided to concentrate on the footpath out the front. I got a 24 signal that I thought was a penny. when I dug it up it turned out to be a roo penny 1957. . I looked around again and got a 26 signal and decided to dig it up . up came a britannia penny 1876.. I was excited at the find so checked the hole but nothing. so filled it in and went on looking, another 26 signal so dug this up as well. another britannia penny 1866. my oldest yet. so all I can say is this when I found a roo and 2 ladies pennies
