after 10+ years and a multitude of different metal detectors I finally found my first snake buckle....this is a find right up the top of my bucket list and I couldn't be happier finding it I was out hunting with my mates Gary Coker and Joe McGregor and we weren't having much success so started heading back to our vehicles to move on to another spot...i decided to swing my coil around under some over hanging branches that reach all the way down to the beach so had to get down and crawl under to scan the area...i got a scratchy but repeatable tone so stuck my profind in to the sand but struggled to pinpoint the target as the area is loaded with black sand....then out pops a lovely little snake buckle to my surprise. Super stoked.
