When assembling, storing or replacing any parts on all Minelab products you should not use any chemicals or petroleum based lubricants.
Using chemicals or petroleum based lubricants can absorb into the plastics causing them to become brittle and shorten their lifespan.
Premature product life caused by chemical ingress into plastics is not covered by Minelab warranty. To help avoid any disappointment in premature product life caused by chemical ingress we have supplied the below list of chemicals that should be avoided when using our products.
If you have been in contact with any of these chemicals, please thoroughly wash your hands prior to touching or using any Minelab products.
When cleaning Minelab products only warm soapy water should be used.
