While detecting an old WWII area I got a faint signal which rang up as copper while using the 17” coil. Estimated depth was 30cm, i began digging and after a few minutes I pulled out a officers crown, I was going to fill the hole back in but I checked it once more and this time I noticed several targets as I waved my coil across the hole. I began digging again this time more cautiously and next target was a button I was excited so I kept digging and pulled out another button followed by more As I scooped a handful of dirt looking for another button which had fallen out of my hand I noticed a glimmer of silver which after inspection turned out to be a 3 pence
