One afternoon in the middle of the woods where the cliffs are high and the ravines sink low I got an awesome tone on my detector. I was under a cliff and dug a brooch that was gold plated with a lions head in a spot it clearly had no reason to be. Why here? Why this? It didn’t make sense that this far out in the middle of the woods I found this. Could it be military? Could it be casual wear? I’m not sure!
