The postman just dropped off a brand new Minelab 15" coil for my 800. I wanted to give it a test run, so I took it for a spin in my front yard before dinner. As I was swinging the coil under the old oak tree I was thinking "Why in the world am I detecting my yard again... I've been over it a hundred times". Then I hear a whisper in the high 30s. Huh. I dig next to a root, and bam! 1885 Morgan silver dollar! My first silver dollar and my oldest coin so far! It just goes to show that no site is ever really picked over. Needless to say, I'm loving my new 15" coil!
