I live 30 minutes or less from a lot of historic sites/parks, so I decided to try my hand at "treasure hunting".
December 2009 just started and I received my X-TERRA 30 from UPS. Brand new to the hobby, I finished the assembly and had nowhere to go, it was already dark outside. I live in a house that's just over 150 years old and remembered I had a dirt room way in the back of my cellar...what the heck!? Wouldn’t you know that thing started beeping as soon as I got in there. My first ever find was a 1936 silver quarter!! I also found a bottle cap and a couple of old square nails. Unreal...! I’m really happy with my purchase and just wish I had bought this thing in the spring. ...Looking forward to finding some really cool stuff. Thanks Minelab, now I’m hooked.
