I have never picked up a metal detector in my life; I'm 51 and lived in Nevada for 47 yrs. I did quite a lot of research and decided to go for the GPX-4500. I'm glad I did, the first outing I picked up a nugget, not a big one but a nugget, I also pinpointed a nice nugget for another that was 14" deep with the stock coil set on mono. This in itself may not be a big deal but where I found the nuggets had just been gone through by seasoned nugget shooters! Eureka!! John – Nevada, USA
