A newlywed husband on his honeymoon is fishing with his bride of only two days. After reeling in one nice catch his fishing partner/wife suggests he clean his hands. The fish was particularly slippery... he was unaccustomed to wearing his heavy brand new gold wedding band... and the unimaginable happened. Almost like it was in slow motion he watched the ring fall off his hand, clink once on the boat rail, and doink into the fast moving muddy river. After the sudden shock of what had just happened had subsided the quick thinking husband checked this depth gauge (10 feet) and recorded his remote GPS location. This is the video of the recovery attempt made by two members of the Central Florida Metal Detecting Club.
