After the Birth of my Baby girl finding time to get out and detect has been much harder to come by, and for good reason of course. Yet I will always have the bug to get out and discover history. I was able to get an amazing permission to a historic 1830's Farm house in Greece, NY. Unfortunately the front yard seemed to be extra clean maybe filled. With the age I didn't want to give up so I kept going pushing through the few modern trash signals that did arise and 1 deep Indian Head penny. As I closed in on the end of the front yard, one small corner to go a beautiful repeatable 12-14 rang out on my CTX. As I uncovered the target from the plug a glimmer of yellow showed through. As I looked closer I could not believe my eyes!! it looked like a gold coin! Amazing, I had it checked out locally and it was verified authentic. what an amazing once in a lifetime find!!
