My name is David Tat Taylor a Minelab detexpert I work closely with unearthed UK helping new and old customers out with Minelab machines. I was recently on a rally in the North West of England with my equinox 800. the morning was wet didn't think it was going to stop raining and nothing of any interest was coming to light the field seemed to be littered with aluminium foil it was all coming in low numbers between 4and 10. I was working my way down I steep banking I just got to the bottom of the banking and suddenly in between all the foil I got a nice signal a steady 16 ID number I dug my plug out the single was still there I ended up digging about 12inch down it was nice peaty soil. I located target with my Profind 35 and suddenly seen a glint of silver reached down into the hole and pulled out a big hammered shilling. I gave it a wipe and my surprise it was an Edward VI boy king shilling. I have had many hammered coins over the years but never one of these it definitely saved the day
