One day earlier this month I thought, I would try a park I had never been to but knew people in my club that had been there over the years with some success. I went to the park and tried various high traffic areas with very limited finds almost ready to leave I tried a different area and within 20 minutes I got a deep iffy signal on my CTX 3030 thinking it probably was another deep aluminum screw cap I dug down and found a half dollar. I could only see the edges and could see it was silver thinking I had a common walking liberty half dollar I got the dirt off of it and seen it was an 1824 capped bust half dollar which is very rare to find anywhere especially in my area. I went about 4 feet away and got another iffy signal I could not find the signal so I thought it was iron false. I went back a few days later and was determined to find the signal. I couldn't locate on my first trip I found the signal finally and it turned out to be a 1875 twenty cent silver coin which was only made two years for circulation so never give up on a hunted out place or a signal you can't locate it could be a really good bucket list item.
