My name is Claudio and I am from Uruguay, it is a pleasure to be able to share my story with all of you and I thank Minelab for the opportunity About a month ago I bought my EQUINOX 600. For reasons of no one else, I still hadn't been able to test it until a week ago. I coordinated with some friends and we decided to go to a place that we already knew, that we had gone a while ago with other metal detectors and we had not had much success. At first the day was quiet, I found some old coins, but nothing important. We decided to move towards a river that runs nearby ... and that's when the real hunt began. First a friend had his 22-23 mark on his EQUINOX 600. It turned out to be a Spanish silver coin from the late 18th century. After 5 minutes of searching my EQUINOX clearly marked an 18-19 signal, totally stable, I made the well, the piece was deep, until I took out the lump, first I saw the edge, I thought it was brass, until I moved it with my finger and saw a shield. There I could not react, I was completely paralyzed, I barely managed to scream and my friends approached. The rest was celebration and joy among friends. After that many more beautiful coins appeared, you can see them in the photos. But the queen of the day was the gold coin. Personally, a dream came true, I have detected 5 years ago and it is the first time I have found a gold coin. Coincidentally, or not, it was my first outing with the new EQUINOX. I am very happy with my detector and hope to have more adventures and joys with it.
