I was out today or a heavy clay field, after 3 hours and not much turning up apart from small scraps of lead I got a strong tone with a VDI of 5. Thinking it would be another small scrap of lead i was amazed to see the thinnest gold ring with green stone i have ever seen. The ring is a medieval finger ring and the stone is most likely an emerald. My settings were beach 1, 2 tones, fe 2, f2 0 with a recovery of 2 Thank you Minelab and remember everyone listen to the tones and don’t be scared to dig low numbers.
