As the years went by, I always passed this old plantation everyday but kind of scared I couldn't get permission. You all know what I'm talking about, the homes that haunt you well. On Saturday July 8th 2016, I finally asked permission and I was granted with a new machine at toe, the CTX 3030.
I was ready and I started by the side of the home. Only found 3 wheat pennies. Then I noticed the old clothes line and a well beaten path back and forth. Half way through, the CTX locked in like a fighter Jet at 8 inches down. A mason jar filled with silver coins from the 20s and 30s.
There were 19 walking half liberties; 89 mercury dimes; 52 buffalo nickel; 9 quarters; 256 wheat pennies.
This treasure of History will always be at the top of my list...
